CAIRNS SHOPPING CENTRES

We have listed the major shopping complexes here. There are numerous small strips of shops located throughout Cairns.

 

Cairns Central has over 170 specialty shops and major department stores including Target & Myers.  Birch Carol & Coyle 5 cinema complex and large food court as well as 2 supermarkets and a variety stores. The Cairns Central Shopping Centre is situated right next to the Cairns Railway Station. Provision of ample all weather car parking attached to the complex.
The Pier Has approximately 100 specialty shops including a food court, a number of  cafes, bars, and is incorporated in the Radisson Plaza Hotel.  The Pier Market Place  is located at The Marlin Marina, the departure point where cruise  boats leave from Cairns to The Great Barrier Reef and Islands. Raintrees Shopping Centre. Recently undergone a full refurbishment. This modern complex houses Woolworths and Action supermarkets. Large discount variety stores The Warehouse and Overflow and over 40 specialty stores including fresh food, fashion, homewares and selected services. Located on the corner of Koch and Alfred Streets. Provision of ample all weather car parking.
Stockland Shopping Centre has over 130 specialty shops including 2 large supermarkets, department store such as Target & Big W, large food court, Medicare, Police Beat and Birch Carol & Coyle 6 cinema complex. Located on Mulgrave Road, Earlville and is approx 10 minutes drive by car to the City of Cairns. Provision of ample all weather car parking.
Westcourt Plaza has a small number of variety shops, Coles supermarket, department store including K Mart and a food court. Westcourt Plaza is approximately 3km west of the Cairns City Centre. Provision of ample all weather car parking.
Smithfield Shopping Centre is modern and has a large number of specialty stores and supermarket including cafes,  nearby bistro and a whole lot more. Located approximately 15 minutes drive north of the Cairns City Centre and close to the Northern Beaches of Cairns Australia. Major retailers include Coles, Woolworths and K-Mart.
